WildRacer5 Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 News and Notes for San Antonio Raceway As reported from Jay Hallas In IHRA pro stock practice driver Jeff Dobbins had a very scary accident. As he let the parachute out of the back of the car at the end of a practice run, the high winds caught the cute and flipped the car around sideways. When the car spun sideway it began to barrel roll down the drag strip. IHRA officials will be delaying the first round of qualifying until a 4:00pm deadline for the high winds. At that time if the winds have not died down, IHRA will run pro qualifying under the lights as part of the night of fire.
