KahneFan Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 (edited) Double-file restart? How would you feel about a double-file restart at your track? Before you answer, there are two options. There is the traditional "Lap cars to the inside", then there is another option I heard mention of (maybe from Sarge?). The other option is number 1 is in the front (alone), 2 is on the pole, 3 is on the outside pole.. 4-5, 6-7, 8-9... I've never heard of this until recent, but it could make for some exciting action for the fans, not to mention, bunches everyone back up and gives everyone a second (or 3rd, 4th, 5th...) chance at a 'virtual' restart. So, how would you feel about either of the two double-file restarts at your track? Edited April 1, 2005 by KahneFan Quote
Guest The_Greek Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 double file sounds good to me, and not counting yellows as well. Quote
lcpyltx8 Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 IDK, i like the double file restarts, and i sorta like sarge's idea. but i think i like the more traditional lap cars to the inside, it gives em a chance to recover, being that sometimes for unfortunate reasons at short tracks (that i've seen) "good" running cars get a lap down. if they gotta start in the back of the field, well, there is really no way to make it up, in a normal 30 or so lap race.
