Date: March 31, 2005

Contact: Chase Stapp, Stapp Racing (512) 738-1559

Subject: Stapp Racing #99 to make car and driver appearance in Manchaca

Saturday, April 2, 2005 will mark the first car and driver appearance for the #99 Thunderhill Raceway Street Stock of Stapp Racing of the 2005 season. The team will showcase its new 2005 color scheme at the “Wheels Roundup” event at Manchaca elementary school beginning at 10:00 am. Manchaca elementary school is located at the intersection of FM1626 and Manchaca Road. “We’re excited about this event that is reported to draw quite a crowd of kids and their parents”, said the team’s driver, Cary Stapp. “It’s a great opportunity to let everyone know that the 2005 season is about to start at Thunderhill Raceway, and we’re ready to race.”

The “Wheels Roundup” event is touted to have hundreds of wheeled vehicles on display from tractors to show cars to racecars and everything in between, said the team’s crew chief, Chase Stapp. The racecars should be a nice addition to the show. The Kaycee Construction/Wright Distributing (Miller Lite) #99 car will be joined by other Thunderhill competitors and the great looking Thunderhill pace truck. After the event in Manchaca, the team will load up and travel to the racetrack for its final testing day before next weekend’s opening night. Fans are admitted into the grandstand area during practice sessions for free.
