Park City, Kansas – June 27, 2016 - Although winless during this 2016 race season, defending co-champion Chris Kratzer leads the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products crate late model division to 81 Speedway this coming Saturday night, July 2, for their second of four appearances of the season. Kratzer will come into the night with a 30-point lead over Jimmy Segraves while veteran Delbert Smith, who was declared the winner at Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta back on June 18, sits just 50 points out of the lead and third in the standings. Lyle Shepard, who won the first four events of the season, is fifth in the standings – just 85 points behind. Ryan Grit, Rob Day, co-defending champion Daniel Smith, touring rookie Adam Popp and Justin Bussell round out the top ten in the standings. The NCRA crate late models will be joined on the race card with the series modified and mod-lite divisions. Gates at 81 Speedway will open at 5:00 PM on Saturday with race time slated for 7:00 PM. Grandstand admissionprices are $15 for adults; children 6-10 just $5 while kid ages five and under will be admitted free. 81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th street in Park City.
