Green Leads NCRA Modifieds to 81 Speedway Saturday Night!

Park City, Kansas – June 27, 2016 - Scott Green leads the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified division to a huge Independence Day Holiday weekend this Saturday night at 81 Speedway in Park City.

Green comes into the night with a very slim 5-point lead over former five-time tour champion Brian Franz. Former champion Tyler Davis (-25) has had a solid 2016 season and sits third in the standings while two-time and defending champion Dan Powers sits fourth in the standings (-35). Josh Lanterman (-55) rounds out the top five.

Ryan McAninch, who won the last time the tour hit the track back on Father’s Day (June 19) is sixth in the standings, followed by Kyler Kemp, Gary Kilbourn, Ross Shipman and Jason McGehee round out the top ten.

Shipman and Cole Traugott all have tour victories thus far this season where thirty-three drivers from three states have competed in at least one event.

Also racing will be the series late model and mod-lite divisions.

Gates at 81 Speedway will open at 5:00 PM on Saturday with race time slated for 7:00 PM. Grandstand admission prices are $15 for adults; children 6-10 just $5 while kid ages five and under will be admitted free. 81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th street in Park City.
