Delbert Smith Declared NCRA Late Model Winner

Park City, Kansas – June 22, 2016 - Officials with the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products have announced that Delbert Smith of Wichita, Kansas has been declared the winner of this past Saturday night’s late model event at Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, Kansas.

Current point leader Lyle Shepard crossed the finish line first after the twenty-five lap feature finale was complete, but Shepard would fail postrace inspection with Smith declared the winner.
Chris Kratzer finished second, followed by Jimmy Segraves, Daniel Smith and Rob Day.

The two, eight lap heat races for the fifteen car field were won by Shepard and Dusty Leonard.

Next event for the NCRA late models will be held on Saturday night of Independence Day weekend, July 2, at 81 Speedway in Park City.
