Park City, Kansas - June 13, 2016 - Current point leader Lyle Shepard “drive for five” featuring victories in a row gets underway this coming Saturday night as the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products crate late model division makes their second appearance of the season at Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, Kansas. Already setting the record for most wins in a row to start the late model season, Shepard looks tie former champion Kelly Boen for all-time series late model feature victories in a row (5) that was last accomplished by Boen back in 2010. Shepard’s perfect start has propelled him to a fifty-point lead over co-defending champion Chris Kratzer and a fifty-five-point advantage over Jimmy Segraves. Dusty Leonard, Delbert Smith, Robert Grit, Rob Day, defending co-champion Dan Smith, touring rookie Adam Popp and Justin Bussell round out the top ten in the point standings. Grandstand admission tickets are just $15 for adults while children 12 and under will be admitted to the grandstands for free. All pit passes are $30 for adults and just $15 for ages twelve and under.
