Park City, Kansas April 26, 2016 - The 33rd season for the National Champioinship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products crate late model division kicks off at RPM Speedway in Hays. Kansas this coming Saturday night (April 30). It will be the tours first ever visit to the three-eighths mile oval and will be the first event for the gladiators utilizing the crate only motor. More information on the crate motor, as well as all rules pertaining to the late model division, can be found on the series website www.racencra.com. Last year a first occurred with the tour as there was a tie for the points championship between Chris Kratzer and Dan Smith and both drivers are expected back this year to try and win the point championship outright. Veteran Delbert Smith finished third in last years point standings, just 75 points out of the championship, while Dusty Leonard and Darrick Klima rounded out the top five. All except Klima are expected to challenge for the 2016 NCRA Crate Late Model championship. Drivers also expected to run the whole fourteen race schedule are: Rob Day, Jeremy Petty, Bryan Hickman, Ryan Grit, Lyle Shepard, Brian Kosiski, Kurt Abell, Adam Popp, Bill Grit, Miya Lane. Those who will make the majority of the events are: Terry Malm, Justin Bussell, Kelly Dunn, Rod Bencken, Dustin Huehl, Scott Phillip, Jimmy Segraves and Tyler Stucky Gates open at 7:00 PM and green flag racing action set to start at 7:00 PM. RPM Speedway is located off of I-70 at exit 157 and is located on the Ellis County Fairgrounds.
