Ryan Stoy Dominates Dwarf Car Racing Series of Texas event at South Texas Speedway

Corpus Christi, TX - The Dwarf Car Racing Series of Texas returned to South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi, TX Saturday (April 16) for race three in the 2016 DCRST schedule and Hutto, Texas, driver Ryan “The Mechanic” Stoy (20) packed a broom and swept the action.

In the main event Stoy quickly asserted himself as the car to beat and set sail as the 16-car field ran under green flag conditions "wire-to-wire" on a tacky STS surface.

The action was behind the leader as Butch Havelka (27) came home as runner up over Drew Simental (37), Kevin Hubbard (8) and Ty Paxson(15) rounding out the top 5. Billy Groff (30), Dwain Groff (48), James Fitzgerald (6), Chris Silvas Jr (86) and Rusty Young (88) rounded out the top 10.

Fitzgerald and B. Groff were heat race winners earlier in the evening along with Stoy.

After back to back dirt track races “The Wild Side Tour” returns to the blacktop at Central Texas Speedway Saturday, April 23, for the Budweiser 250 event.

The 2016 season opened at CTS in March with a field of 25 cars and this event has every indication of producing the same count.

The early season point battle has tightened up after 3 events.
