(March 24, 2016) Things are definitely on an upward trend at the 3/8-mile Outlaw Motor Speedway clay oval near Muskogee, OK.Following a successful Test N Tune and Spring Fling Enduro on Saturday, March 19, the second full season of racing action under the track ownership of Jessie Hoskins officially gets underway with the April 1-2 Azalea Festival Nationals featuring a full slate of championship action on both nights.It looks like were headed into an awesome year of racing here at Outlaw Motor Speedway, track promoter Chris Smith commented after the recent Test N Tune. The track and facilities are looking great and were excited to get the season started.The season-opening Azalea Festival Nationals on April 1-2 will include two full nights of competition for each of the tracks championship chase divisions of IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, Grand Nationals and Pure Stocks. Racing action goes green at 8:00 on Friday, April 1, with the Saturday, April 2, card firing off at 7:00 p.m.The Azalea Festival Nationals launches an action-packed 2016 season that runs through the Outlaw October Fest on October 27-29 with a number of special events along the way.With the track set to fire up with the official season-opener next weekend, that past weekends Test T Tune attracted 60 cars with another 47 entries from five different states taking part in the 100-lap, $1,000-to-win Enduro.Scott Stuart of Chanute, KS, took command on lap 21 of the Enduro and never looked back en route to collecting the big money with Jeremy Wilson (Humboldt, KS), Alan Crawford (Enid), Danny Conley (Muskogee) and Steve Arnold (Morris) rounding out the top five.The Test N Tune and Enduro went really well, it sets a great tone for the 2016 season ahead, Smith said.The complete Outlaw Motor Speedway 2016 schedule is available at http://outlawmotorspeedway.net/schedule/.General admission tickets are available for $10 each night with Senior Citizens and Military admitted for $8. Children ages 6-12 are admitted for $5 with children five and under free.
