Lanterman NCRA Modified Master at the Belleville High Banks

Belleville, Kansas - July 5, 2015 - Josh Lanterman passed race long leader Jon Thompson with five laps to go to claim his second National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified feature of the season, this coming at the Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas this past Sunday night.

Thompson stated on the pole for the fifteen lap feature and quickly took the lead as the green flag fell. He would hold the top spot until outside front row starter Lanterman took the lead on lap eleven.

Lanterman would go on to lead the final five laps to claim the victory. Sixth starting Justin Moler had an impressive run to the front and finished second while Thompson settled for third. Tyler Davis came home fourth while Andy Wilkinson rounded out the top five.

Defending tour champion Dan Powers had some misfortune in the 15 lap feature event and would finish ninth.

After the Belleville event, Thompson will take a fifteen point lead over Lanterman and Powers as the tour heads to the annual Hutchinson Grand Nationals, at the Kansas State Fairgrounds, in Hutchinson, Kansas on Friday and Saturday night, July 24-25 in the next event for the NCRA modified division.
