By Duane Turner

Mason, MI: After three weeks off from racing due to weather, and an outdoor expo, fans, teams and staff at Spartan Speedway were eager to get back racing. Jon Parish and Nate Jenkins grabbed the wins in the Bandolero divisions, while Jon McNett took his first win of the 2015 season in the modifieds. Lex Jarecki took the Pony Stock "A" feature, and Randy Kretzinger Jr was victorious in the "B" feature. In the visiting divisions, Kim Hughes took the checkers in the MCR Dwarf cars, while Jarrod Pritchett bested a strong field of Great Lakes Super Mini Cups.

The feature events started with the Junior Bandit division. Jon Parish took the early lead, with Trey Chmielewski close behind. Chmielewski would take the point on lap five, but Parish would not give up. One lap later, Parish would spin trying to retake the lead on the inside. On the restart, Kylie Beckner would nose ahead in turn two, but Chmielewski would hold the point. Parish would come from the tail and sneak back in to second one lap later. With the white flag flying, Parish would make the pass on the low side, and take the win. Chmielewski would be second, with Cody Hall in third. The Bandit feature would see Faith Schuch grab the point with Nate Jenkins in tow. One lap later, Jenkins would take the point and begin to pull away.
