Jones Eyes Continued Success at Iowa Speedway

Iowa Veteran Brandon Jones, driver of the No. 33 AGRA Industries Chevrolet Silverado, returns to Iowa Speedway for the American Ethanol 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race. Jones is no rookie at Iowa, as Friday nights 200-lap event marks Jones second NCWTS start and seventh-career NASCAR start at the 7/8-mile short track. Jones and the No. 33 Air Management Supply/AGRA Industries team look to rally from a 12th-place finish at Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Ill. where Jones ran in the top 10 for most of the race before having to repair an oil leak with 10 laps remaining.

Heartland History This Friday, Jones returns to the site of his first career NASCAR win and XFINITY Series debut. In 2014, Jones captured the win in the Autolite Iridium XP 150 K&N Pro Series East-West combination race after starting from the eighth position. Earlier this year, Jones made his XFINITY Series debut with Richard Childress Racing at Iowa Speedway where he led first practice, qualified fifth, and finished in the eighth position. His only NCWTS start occurred in 2013, when he finished 20th after a late-race accident left him two laps down to the leaders.

Points Report After eight of 23 scheduled races, the No. 33 Chevrolet is 13th in NCWTS Owner Standings.

Iowa Chassis Choice The Air Management Supply/AGRA Industries team has selected chassis No. 009 for Fridays event. Jones piloted this Chevrolet three weeks ago at Dover (Del.) International Speedway, where he drove to his first top-10 result of the season.

BRANDON JONES QUOTE:

On his expectations for Iowa Speedway:

We have high expectations for our Air Management Supply / AGRA Industries team this weekend at Iowa Speedway. I have a lot of experience at Iowa, which I havent been able to say about many of the tracks weve raced at this year. Our GMS Racing Chevrolets have been great every week. It seems like we run into bad luck before we can finish the race, but I feel like were on the verge. Coming back to Iowa Speedway where I had an eighth-place finish in my XFINITY Series debut just last monthIt would be a great place to break through and earn our first top-five finish of the year.
