Bobby: Since I am very familiar with TPS procedures and also in my position of Texas Pro Sedans Publications Office Director, which among many other duties, requires that I keep and post all TPS Points standing and records, I think I can add to “Hi Tech’s” post.

Regarding your question, “So with no races ran. There are points given?”

The points weren’t “given”, they were earned. In 39 years of racing operations and during the almost as many seasons that bonus points have been awarded since 1988, suggest you refer to 2015 TPS Rules, page 7, paragraph 19 “+ 1 point > To Driver who arrives and registers running TPS car at pit gate not more than one hour after scheduled pit gate opening or one hour after if pit gate actually opens late". This rule applies to all races unless adjusted”. Of the 15 entries, 13 drivers complied with this rule and were rewarded with one point.

In case anyone wonders, how will TPS Officials settle a 13 way tie at CCS with 2015 point standings showing one (1) point? The Race Bulletin for May 30th also has anticipated the unlikely situation into account and reads, “If time trials not held or completed, Feature Race will grid by 2015 TPS point standings to date, then order of date of received entry”. Therefore, the order of receipt of entry will break the 13 way tie.

2015 TPS Rules and TPS Race Bulletin for the May 30th event is referenced www.texasprosedans.com as is “The “1st Draft” Race Bulletin for Race #3, Race Entry Forms and 2015 TPS Membership Form are also posted on: www.texasprosedans.com

Btw: David Mackey is awaiting receipt of your Race Entry Form & $60 and 2015 TPS Membership Form & $20 prior to May 30. (His U.S. mailing address is available on the bottom of the post to which you replied).

#02 is reserved for you and we thank you for your membership in the 40th year of the Texas Pro Sedans racing series.
