Huge $3000 to win IMCA Weekend at Longdale Speedway

Longdale, Oklahoma May 13, 2015 - It will be a huge IMCA weekend at Longdale Speedway in Longdale, Oklahoma this coming Friday and Saturday as the track will host a two-day, $3000 to win weekend for IMCA modfiieds, IMCA sport mods and IMCA stock cars. All this will be held in conjunction with the inaugural Longdale Speedway Car show and motorcycle rally as well as the annual Canton Lake Walleye Rodeo weekend at nearby Canton Lake.

Thursday night (May 14) there will be an open practice session from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Cost is $30 for car and driver and $10 for all non-drivers. Grandstand admission for practice is free.

Friday night will see a complete set of heat races as well as feature events with the top two finishers in the nights feature finale locked in to Saturday nights $2000 to win main event. Friday nights payout for all three IMCA divisions listed above is as follows:

Friday Nights A Feature: 1) $1000, 2) $700, 3) $600, 4) $500, 5) $400, 6) $300, 7) $250, 8) $175, 9) $125, 10) $100, 11-20) $75.

On Saturday night drivers will again compete in heat races and last chance features to makeup the championship feature finale. The purse for the feature finale in all three divisions is as follows:

Saturday night Championship Feature: 1) $2000, 2) $1200, 3) $1000, 4) $800, 5) $600, 6) $500, 7) $400, 8) $300, 9) $250, 10) $200, 11-20) $100.

There will be a pill draw and re-draw both Friday and Saturday night. Entry fee for all three divisions is $100 plus pit passes if paid on Friday night. If you show up Saturday night only the entry fee is $125 plus pit pass.

Gates open both nights at 5:00 PM with racing slated for a 7:00 PM start time.

Grandstand general admission is $15 each night for adults; $10 for military and senior citizens; $5 for ages 6-12 while kids 5 and under will be admitted for free into the grandstands. Pit passes both nights are $30.
