MIR Picked for Racer Rewards Program - Memphis one of 50 tracks selected by Contingency Connection

MILLINGTON, Tenn. (May 11) - Memphis International Raceway (MIR) is the latest of a select group of 50 tracks nationwide to participate in the prestigious Contingency Connection program, a national grassroots racer rewards program.

MIR was selected from a pool of 100 tracks that applied to participate in the program and will offer nearly $100,000 in national Contingency Connection Racer Rewards for the balance of the 2015 Season.

"We're excited to be a part of Contingency Connection's Racer Rewards program this season," said MIR VP and GM Pam Kendrick. "This

is a program that is extremely beneficial to our racers. They get their rewards on the night they win them so there's no waiting for an award to come in the mail."

National manufacturers such as Edelbrock, Clevite, K&N Filters, Auto Meter, MSD, Mr. Gasket, Hastings, Accel, JE Pistons, Mahle, Lincoln Electric, Russell, Taylor Vertex, Aeromotive, Melling, Hedman Hedders, Canton and many others will be posting awards.

During the course of the season, 50 Racer Rewards coupon books

will be awarded in all classes. Each Racer Rewards coupon books include $25 to $50 manufacturer discount coupons averaging nearly $1,500 in total rewards. Rewards will be awarded to a variety of classes and situations, not given to just race winners. The winning class will be announced each before each race on the MIR Facebook page.

There will also be a Racer Rewards Championship Bonus where a dozen different manufacturers are offering awards valued at nearly $3,000 total at the end of the year.

To qualify for the award, racers must run the Racer Rewards decal and the decals of the sponsors whose parts they use on their cars. Racer Rewards decals and decals for select sponsors will be available in the tower starting at the Summit Bracket Racing Series presented by COMP Cams race on Saturday, May 16.
