arob Posted December 5, 2014 Report Share Posted December 5, 2014 I went to the STS practice expecting to see 35 - 40 cars and found what looked to be twice that or so! You would expect several more Friday.I think Ken is going to be way over his 110 car estimate he posted! The cars are here so come out and enjoy the races.Weather tempature wise was cool but comfortable and low wind.Bring a cushion / blanket to sit on as there is a lot of moisture in the air and the stands got pretty damp.I understand that should be gone Sat.Looks like it is going to be great! top_shelf_12 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Share Posted December 5, 2014 Just heard on the radio the chances for precipitation have been downgraded to 20% today and tomorrow but yes there's still a mist in the air and does collect on the aluminum stands. Thank you STS for replacing some of the plywood on the steps up near where we usually sit and seemed like some lights have been added around the facility.
