Park City, Kansas November 28, 2014 - While the battle for the 2014 National Championship Racing Association sprint car championship ended in a tie, it was another exciting season for Jeremy Campbell of Wichita, Kansas. The former Michigan native finished the 2014 race season with two more sprint car championships under his belt, once again dominating the Kansas sprint car scene. Despite battling motor problems throughout the season, Campbell officially recorded his second NCRA as well.

I had more DNFs this season than Ive had in a long time, so it was really a rebuilding year for me according to Campbell. I stepped away from the 305 sprint cars to focus on my family and winning the 360 NCRA championship. It came together in the end for us, but it wasnt a strong year for our team. Weve got a great start on what to work on for next year,

The JCM team started the season with a new Maxim frame, and while Campbell has been with Maxim Racing for more than 10 years it still presented some challenges. Campbell explains This is the first year since moving from 410 sprint cars to 360s that Ive really focused on investing money into growing my race team. Ive been racing a car that was eight years old, and it worked great, but to grow I knew I needed to add another car to my team. We started 2014 completely rebuilding. At the end of the year we also purchased a new trailer to allow us to carry more parts and travel more. I blew up our strongest motor this season, so we ended up purchasing a used one that blew up immediately as well, so I finished out the season on a borrowed engine. This off-season is really going to keep Dwight, my father-in-law, who builds our engines, really busy, but to start 2015 with two motors and two cars will be great.

Since bursting on to the scene in the Kansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska area, Jeremy has amassed six NCRA victories and two series championships and has two, 81 Speedway sprint car championships.

Part of the success of Jeremy Campbell Motorsports has been the long-term support of Campbells industry sponsors along with the addition of loyal sponsors of Campbells father-in-laws team. 2015 will be the 5th year for Dans Cycle, Radio Shack of Derby, Hillsboro Race Engines and Scotts Well Service. Companies like Maxim Racing, Hepfner Racing Products, ButlerBuilt Seats and Speedway Motors have been with Campbell the majority of his 14-year sprint car career, and sponsors that have joined more recently, like AutoMasters, Precise Racing and Plenert Excavating have continued to help the team grow.

Looking forward to 2015 the 10c team will return to the NCRA Sprint Car Series, along with 81 Speedway events, while also looking for more opportunities to travel. For more information visit www.jeremycampbell.net or find us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/campbell10c.
