Limited Modified Info for Southern Oklahoma Speedways Halloween Havoc

Geary, Oklahoma (October 26, 2014) - Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Oklahoma is just days away from hosting the biggest three day racing event in the tracks history the inaugural Halloween Havoc sanctioned by the United States Modified Touring Series, this coming Thursday through Saturday night, October 30-31, and November 1. As an added bonus, the tracks limited modified division will also be competing all three nights utilizing the tracks weekly limited modified rules.

Below is information solely for limited modified drivers attending this huge event and you are asked to bring lots of candy to give out to the kids in costume on Friday night from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Motel: Guest Inn off of exit 32 (Veterans Blvd.) is giving a 10% discount to all drivers who mention they are competing in this event.

Pit passes: If bought on Thursday you can purchase a four day pass for only $120. If you purchase a three day pass on Wednesday it will be $100. Daily pit pass breakdown is $20 on Wednesday; $35 on Thursday and Friday night and $40 for Saturday nights championship finale.

Format: The top 12 in heat race passing points are locked into the A Main each night, with the top 8 redrawing for starting positions 1-8. An additional 12 drivers will advance from the B Mains to the A Main each night.

Entry fee: Early entry fee deadline is on Monday, October 27. You can still pay an entry fee at the gate and is as follows: Thursday night - $75; Friday night - $100; Saturday night - $125.

Saturday A Main: 1) $1500, 2) $800, 3) $600, 4) $450, 5) $375, 6) $300, 7) $250, 8) $200, 9) $190, 10) $180, 11) $170, 12) $160, 13) $150, 14) $140, 15) $130, 16) $125, 17) $120, 18) $110, 19) $105, 20-24) $100, Tow $50.



This three day event will be a complete show each night with three payouts. Drivers can race one, two or all three nights.



Gates will open at 4:00 PM on Thursday and Friday night with race action slated for a 7:00 PM start time both nights. Championship Saturday night will see gates open at 3:30 PM with races beginning at 6:30 PM.
