This from Houston Motorsports Park owner Graham Baker:

 

Because of this weekend's forecast, many racers have stated they won't be attending, which will make for poor car count. So we have reluctantly canceled Friday's practice and Saturday's event.

 

Along with the message, Graham also sent along this graphic from the Weather Channel.
