10-time Midget Champ Kevin Olson joins the Racers Reunion

 

Outstanding midget driver Kevin Olson will be joining the lineup for the 2014 Racers Reunion Banquet. The 10 time midget champion and Hall of Fame member will be the Master of Ceremonies which will give him an opportunity to share stories of his life as a racer. Besides midget series championships in BMARA (1976, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1997), USAC (1982, 1987), NAMAR (1975) and NMRA (1973, 1977) Olson claimed victories in the 1983 Turkey Night Grand Prix and the prestigious Hut Hundred in 1996. As a regular participant in the Chili Bowl Olson will undoubtabley have Emmett Hahn stories to tell.

In the 9000 sq. ft. center there will be a great assortment of race cars on display. This year the variety is outstanding and the sure to be crowd favorite will be the original 1981 Blue Max Funny Car that will be on display. Others will include a midget, champ car, front engine dragster, stock car and many more. Bring your camera because others will not believe the display of vintage race cars.

After the success of the silent auction in 2013 it has been brought back and will feature autographed memorabilia, original art work and other racing collectables. Perfect early Christmas shopping for all race fans.
