Schedule Update:

First I apologize to everyone for the cancellation this past weekend. Due to the cancellation we are making the following schedule update:

 

Sept 20th is Sames Ford night at the races, All Classes running. It is also E mod Challenge night.

 

September 27th is Tata night. Breast cancer awareness night. All Classes running.

 

October 10-12th CC Bike Rally. No racing. Just Beer, music and babes.

 

November 8th. Will now be the last points night. It will also be double points due to the recent rain out.

 

December 4th, 5th and 6th is the South Texas Shootout. We will be running Limiteds and Pure Stocks.

 

4th will be a practice

 

5th will be qualifying night

 

6th Main show.

Honestly Bobby Jack, I don't know. The website lists 20th and 27th. When was there a schedule with the 13th? That schedule on the website has been up since March. I didn't change anything that i'm aware of. I'm just making the November race for points.

I am trying not to change dates. I am aware each of you schedule ahead. That's why I am using the dates already scheduled. I will make sure next year we have rain dates etc all scheduled ahead of time.

Since Shady Oaks cancelled the Oct 4th race why don't we have that as a make up date instead of Nov 8th. You are going to loose some drivers since deer season has just started. It's only a thought. I know I want be there!!

Or just end it on the 27th. That way you will have time to prepare for the bike thing and won't have to worry about making any repairs/clean up in time for the 8th. Double points the 27th and get it over with.

There is absolutely no way to please everyone when it comes to schedules, rules, etc. This is true for the tiniest 1/16-mile all the way up to Sprint Cup.

 

And, yes, it's easy to get upset, but we always ask folks to take up their disappointment with the track in person rather than getting on LSSZ to voice their displeasure with the track.
