By: Anita Soltis

(Plymouth, IN) Its the only time the drivers will be here as the season is drawing to a close. The UMP Outlaw Super Late Models are on their way to the Playground of Power on Saturday night.

The Late Model drivers will be fighting for a large payout which means they will racing door to door to get to the front of the field. The drivers at the front will guard their lead at any cost so there will be no shortage of on-track action during the feature.

The Swan Lake Resorts UMP Modified drivers will also be in action and the Thunder Stocks will take to the track.

Itll be a full night of racing at Plymouth Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 9. The gates will open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. ET.

NASCAR driver Tony Stewart will race in a Winged Sprint in the Bob Newton Hoosier Tire Classic on Aug. 16. Hes looking forward to the race as he missed his visit to Plymouth Speedway last year due to a leg injury. Hes more determined to make this the best race yet since his return to dirt in a Winged Sprint.

Tickets for the Bob Newton Hoosier Tire Classic are available for purchase on www.plymouthspeedway.net. Information about upcoming events are also accessible on the website.
