thumper Posted August 6, 2014 Report Share Posted August 6, 2014 At Rio Grande Speedway a few years ago there was a class for racing 4 wheelers called Quads.Usually about 20 entries,many from Corpus.The problem they experienced was they used the actual track in turns 3 & 4 which got the quads going too fast.Sure enough one of the riders hit the wall with their head and got hurt.That was the end of quads.All they needed was a chickane to slow that part of the quad track. Adding quads is a great idea if safety is considered.These guys are FAST!And theres a lot of them,or was.Great for the "old" guys too. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just me im sure but seems there could be some upgrades on our tracks that do not take a lot of money or time to better these races . Maybe im wrong just my question opinion. Bluebayouracing21 Posted August 8, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 8, 2014 Theres alot on the books where making improvements on car and kart track but everything were planning takes more than 1 week to get done so its all going to be done in off season but thats the whole reason for this is to make south texas speedway a heck of nice racing facility with all kinds of racing got cars and karts one week then motocross the next!!!
