TheCloser Posted July 16, 2014 Report Share Posted July 16, 2014 We regret to inform everyone that we are canceling our August 9th race with the Lone Star Legends at Texas Motor Speedway. We were unable to secure proper funding to complete a full purse for our portion of the event and did not feel that it was fair to the racers to not have a full purse. The lack of a full purse could have had a negative effect on car count. TALMS is committed to providing the most entertaining and exciting on-track action for race fans and track officials. We thank Rusty Marcus and Lone Star Legends for asking us to be part of their Summer Shootout Series Finale. We look forward to the event returning to our 2015 schedule. Any driver or team that has a paid entry on file for the TMS race can use it for their next race entry or have it refunded. No decision has been made regarding a make-up race at this time. Thank you all for supporting the series.
