Havelka Clean Sweeps CC; CTS up next for DCRST

 

Butch Havelka (27) took the heat and main event wins at CC Speedway on June 28th in Dwarf Car Racing Series of Texas action. With that win Havelka has won 2 out the 3 events contested in Corpus during the 2014 season. Big picture Halelka from Portland, TX also picked up the point lead and leads by 9 markers over Billy Groff (30).

Chase Havely (29), Rusty Young (88), Kevin Hubbard (3) and Dwain Groff (14) rounded out the top 5 on the always fast and exciting ¼ high banked oval. The field navigated the bulling with lap times in the 15 second range making for spectacular action and thrilling the fans during the 25 lap main event. Havely picked up another race win as well.

The DCRST is back in action this Saturday at Central Texas Speedway for race 9 at the KVET Country Showdown which will include a post race concert by Texas Country Music artist Rick Trevino.

Early action on tap for the speedy machines with 3pm heat races and the main event slated for 6pm.
