Heart O’ Texas hosts May 25 IMCA Lone Star Series show

WACO, Texas (May 21) – The race for four individual championships resumes this Sunday, when IMCA’s Texas Lone Star Series travels to Heart O’ Texas Speedway.

The May 25 main event for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds pays $500 to win and is a qualifier for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Josh McGaha of Abilene and Keith White of Little River Academy share the top spot in the point standings heading to Waco.

Features for the Wild Child Race Cars-sponsored IMCA Sunoco Stock Car series and Southwest Racing Specialties-sponsored series for Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods both pay $400 to win.

Top prize in the series feature for IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks is $250.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, Allstar Performance State, local track and special series points will be awarded.

Street stocks, bombers, junior minis and twisters are also on the Sunday card at HO’T.

Pit gates and the grandstand both open at 4 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:15 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m.

Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $10 for military personnel, seniors and students, and $5 for children ages 6-12. Kids five and under get in free. Pit passes are $25 and there are no entry fees.
