DCRST back in action May 17th at Corpus Christi Speedway

San Marcos, TX (May 12, 2014) - The Dwarf Car Racing Series of Texas storms back into Corpus Christi May 17th for race number 5 of the 2014 campaign. The DCRST ran back to back events in CC on the asphalt and dirt (STS) before a week off for Mother's Day. At STS Billy Groff (#30) held off CCS race winner Butch Havelka (#27) and Kevin Hubbard (#3) for the win. The field of 10 cars navigated the ¼ mile oval in unison in what many called the most exciting the race of the night. The field sliced and diced throughout and drew rave reviews from fans and drivers in the pits.

Many of the top contenders are expected back at the ¼ mile bullring for the event as the point battles tightens up and the teams look to make big moves before the May 31st event at Central Texas Speedway. DCRST will compete in heat races and a 25 lap main event at CC Speedway.

DCRST will be on hand once again with the Texas Asphalt Limited Modifieds, Texas Pro Sedans, Bombers and Lone Star Legacies for an exciting night of action at the legendary Texas oval.
