Ken Schrader to race at Plymouth this Saturday

Recommended Posts

He's one of my favorites, and I was curious about where because I'm actually in Missouri for some training - but Indiana is just a little too far away.

Will probably catch the Trucks Friday at Kansas Speedway - maybe the Cup guys Saturday too, possibly a ASCS National Sprint show at Lakeside tomorrow if it doesn't rain (or worse). Next week...I'll find something, maybe I-35. Hope to get to the Show Me 100 in a couple weeks too.

I don't get to add new tracks to my list too often anymore.

WHAT?.....It's just a skip across I-70 through Illinois to Indianapolis(Nap town), then up I-65 to US30 and east to Plymouth....Only about eight hours if you're in central Missouri.....LOL...Beats the same drive time from El Paso from SA....

Kansas Spwy. wasn't built yet when I lived up there, nor was Chicagoland Spwy....We had Indy, but no NA$CAR back then....As for Lakeside, ask Greg Dinsmore about his experience there when Knoxville got rained out and everyone headed to Lakeside....Not a pleasant one....Enjoy the Midwest....Plenty of dirt tracks around there...

Hey Reb! Yeah, the crazy part of me was thinking of skipping the trucks Friday night and heading east to the Hut 100. Now, if they were running that on Saturday I'd say forget the NASCAR stuff and head East. School lets out at 4 - it'll be 8:00 by the time I hit Granite City IF EVERYTHING GOES PERFECT. Unfortunately, that race will have to stay on my bucket list.

ASCS at Lakeside was cancelled due to the storms. Weather looks ok Friday and Saturday....got my Kansas tickets today. I will probably only be here once in my life, might as well take it in.

I may hit you up for some tips....I see Lakeside and I-35 work together with the USRA Mods and other divisions. One runs Friday, another runs Saturday. What a concept!!!!!! Will probably take that in next week....also debating a run up to Knoxville for a regular show and a trip to the museum. We'll see how it goes.
