Added Bonus for Longdale and Elk City Drivers This Weekend

Geary, Oklahoma April 28, 2014 - This coming Friday and Saturday night (May 2-3), drivers will have the chance to compete at two different tracks on consecutive nights as the new Longdale Speedway in Longdale, Oklahoma and Elk City Speedway in Elk City, Oklahoma have come together with an added bonus for drivers who can win with nights events.

In other Longdale Speedway news, due to the better than expected car counts to open the season, an increase in purse is now in effect for all weekly divisions.

This Friday night, Longdale Speedway will compete will be hosting a regular weekly show consisting of modifieds, sport mods, stock cars and pure stocks. Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM with hot laps starting at 6:00 PM and races slated to start at 7:00 PM.

Then on Saturday night, Elk City Speedway will run the makeup features that were cancelled due to storms last weekend. For any driver who did not compete last weekend, you will have the opportunity to tag the back of the feature event for the price of a separate pit pass. The track will then run a full program at the conclusion of the makeup features.

If any driver wins at Longdale Speedway on Friday night and their feature at Elk City on Saturday night, they will earn an additional $500 on top of the regular purses.

This announcement will also give drivers an opportunity to compete in two separate heat races, three B features and three A features in just two days of racing action.

As mentioned, an increased weekly purse awaits drivers at the new Longdale Speedway. Modified drivers will now compete for $600 to win and $50 to start while sport mod drivers compete for $500 to win and $50 to start. Stock car drivers will earn $400 to win and $30 to start while pure stocks pay $$300 to win and $30 to start.
