Route 66 Motor Speedway Kicks off 2014 This Saturday Night

Geary, Oklahoma April 28, 2014 - The 2014 race season at Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas kicks off this coming Saturday night (May 3rd) and kick off twenty nights of racing action atop the three-eighths mile red clay oval. The tracks regular weekly divisions consisting of modifieds, limited modifieds, street stocks, cyclones and a pony stock division will race every scheduled Saturday night while the popular 305 - ci sprints will make an appearance ten times throughout the season, including this opening night.

Special events include an appearance by the United States Modified Touring Series, National Championship Racing Association modified and sport modified divisions and after a long absence late models return under the sanction of the Championship Dirt Motorsport Series. Also back on the schedule will be big paying special events for the 305-ci sprint cars, modifieds, limited modifieds and pony stocks.

Pit gates open this and every Saturday night at 4:30 PM with grandstand gates scheduled to open at 6:00 PM. Races will begin at 7:00 PM.

Adult general admission tickets are just $10 while pit passes are $25.
