FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Geary, Oklahoma April 22, 2014 - The long awaited 2014 season opener for the little quarter mile clay oval at Osage Casino Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas gets underway this coming Saturday night (April 26) with their regular weekly program consisting of late models; B-mods; pure stocks; factory stocks and non-wing micros. This event will be the first of twenty weekly racing events at the speedway, which will also be hosting several special events throughout the season. They include three Oil Capital Racing Series sprint cars; a Wednesday night appearance by the United States Modified Touring Series; the Midwest Outlaw Vintage Racing Group and the 5th annual James House Memorial featuring the MARS DIRTcar series. Gates will open at 5:00 PM with racing slated for a 7:30 PM start time. General admission tickets are just $10; $5 for seniors while ages twelve and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
