First we would like to tell everyone at Texas Thunder its drivers, fans and sponsors we are sorry that your facility is disappearing. With the closing of a something starts the beginning of something else. New opportunities open and with that new excitement / anticipation comes with it. The Swenson Racing Components South Texas Street Stock Shootout is finishing its 4th season with only 1 race left on the schedule this year. We are already putting a new puzzle together for 2014 with alot of new and existing supporters. This year like last has been very exciting and rewarding for many drivers and teams. We understand you will be looking into new venues to race if you havent already. For you full fender freaks out there keep the shootout in mind for next year. We have already introduced the class rules for 2014 and they are scaled back some from this years current rules. This should allow us to be an option for you come 2014. The purse has been good and it will be even better. The competition has been outstanding and it will be as good next year if not better.
