rebelracewriter
Bonne Super Nationals $2000 to win and 363 modifieds show up, plus the top four lose their motor. What's wrong with this picture? Ya, ya, heard all the arguements, and all the rumors!!!!!
racerjim2
I thinks some drivers were scared off by the rules package and others may have been scared off by the 25 cars needed to gaurentee the purse. There was no breakdown of what the pure would be for less cars.JMO also fyi the race actually paid $2000.00 to win. rebelracewriter
Jim, is 2K what was actually paid? I read on here somewhere where it was mentioned as 3K to win(with a car count variance) The Texas Challenge had the same rules, correct? There were about 30 cars for that and I don't see any reason why there wasn't that many for this race. Unless some guys prefer to run for points, not money. Oh wait....I think that's been proven at some tracks already. LOL Must be a Texas thing! LMAOOOOO
Jason
If they had had the TSRS race last night and the Late Model race next week we would of had 25 cars. Jason
Stroker Ace
Good Purses are a great way to pull in cars from out of the area for an increased car count. That doesn't even seem to work for SAS in the late models. [edited out by Nick Holt, 1-/10/04]
Jason
No. The problem is you have 20 guys who run TSRS who don't want to tear up their cars because the next week is their race. Just flip the dates and there would of been 25.
budweiser8
yea jason, but if you're worried about tearin your car up then why ever race it?
krusty_rusty
because its the end of the season, and the drivers that would travel for this race are still in the TSRS points race, and don't want to take a chance of giving that i know if the dates were flip flopped you probably would've got 5 and 80 car from TSRS and probably the 00.
