txtom
You old timers will remember Bopp Chassis of Lonedell, Missouri. From NSSN: Glenn Bopp, owner of Bopp Chassis located in Lonedell, Mo., has died. Bopp built short track cars in the 1970s and ’80s that were driven by the likes of Bobby Allison, Rusty Wallace and Ken Schrader among others. Bopp and his family moved to North Carolina and worked for Schrader for many years, maintaining a lifelong relationship with the popular racer. Bopp and his wife of more than 40 years, Yvonne, had two sons — Terry and Danny. Danny works as an actor and is a part-time race car driver. Several folks arounfd here ran Bopp cars at one time or another, including several San Antonio Track Champions.

rickracer
Bruce Beddoes CC Speedway red and white Miller American late model was a Bopp chassis. Easy to adjust. The car owner at the time was Harold Cope...... until it hit the pit entrance wall and the air cleaner was in the windshield. Pictures can be seen on the FOTKI site under Ricky Sinard

Hrodder
The 44 car that Hubert Bean won his only championship with in 1984 at hwy 16 was a Bopp off set chassis or old car went Carl Wentrick it was also a Bopp . Carl won the limited late model championship the same year. Some people say that Hubert set the fastes lap at hwy16 with that race car. OK come on back with it I can take the heat. Glenn Bopp had his act together. R.I.P
