Saw Greg Davidson qualified 5th for this race.

Dave Mader set fast time at a 16.346, but failed tech. Ryan Matthews from Wisconsin is on the pole with a 16.462

Greg timed at a 16.663.

Those times are correct, this is one fast track.

also fyi during the last practice session while scuffing tires something broke in greg's motor and he had to try to qualify on 7 cylinders and still ended up 6th before the DQ of the pole sitter. Greg was only 3 tenths of a second off of dave mader's time on a bad cylinder, they obviously have that car awesome and greg is driving the wheels off of it. Chris Davidson left houston at 9PM last night to get there about 30 min. ago with another motor, but before they started changing it they made sure that greg gets to start the race still in fifth position. Good luck to Greg hope everything goes well.

Greg was the fastest by over two-tenths in the last practice session, after changing out motors. Greg was running fourth at the time, sure looked at the time he would easily get around the first three cars as they all ran bumper to bumper and seperated themselves from the others by more than half a straight-away. I think he said a piece of asphalt tore a belt up or something in the motor. Would had been nice to see him running there at the end. 30th place finish $1,000.

Other ROMCO guys:

#83 Jim Sikes Jr. finished 5th earned $2,000, lost a lap or two during a green flag pit stop(raced with ROMCO at TMS).

#56 Tony Jackson Jr. started 9th and finished 8th, earned $1,350. He lost five or six laps during a green flag stop at about lap 130, he was running 6th at the time, later on got tangled up with a spinning car and slightly hit the wall (raced 5 times with ROMCO this year).

#60 Scott Atkinson finished 26th earned $1,000 was involved in an accident that ended his night (raced with ROMCO at Houston).

The top two ROMCO Series finisher's are supposed to get a bonus, so who will get the $1,000 bonus for being the top ROMCO finisher, and $500 for runner- up?
