(May 3, 2013) Rain is one thing, but throw in snow and ice and the thought of racing grinds to a halt as the 2nd annual Impact Signs, Awnings and Wraps Open Wheel Showdown scheduled for Saturday, May 4 with the Speedway Motors Warrior Region at the Lucas Oil Speedway has been called off. According to Lucas Oil Speedway management, the event will not be rescheduled. The next event for the Speedway Motors Warrior Region Friday, May 17 with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real National Tour at the U.S. 36 Raceway in Cameron, Mo. Tickets for the U.S. 36 Nationals are on sale at http://www.racinboys.com The 2013 season marks the twenty-second year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing for the American Sprint Car Series, which brings the best of Sprint Car racing to dozens of different tracks throughout the nation and into Canada.
