Reutimann in for Kurt Busch at Pocono

Recommended Posts

to be fair on this though, Kyle has really changed his tune since he had to sit out a race and watch from the pit box while someone else drove his car. Unfortunately Kurt thinks he's above everyone else in the sport and in my opinion he needs to just go away or start his own team where he can do what ever he wants.

I hope Reuti knocks it out of the park this weekend and shows what he can do

He could not afford his own team ..if finch is having a hard time getting sponsors with kurt as it is ..tells you something there .....sponsors have turned their backs on bush ..AS FOR DO WHAT EVER HE WANTS .THAT ISNT THE CASE NOW AND WOULD NOT BE IF HE DID OWN HIS OWN TEAM .NASCAR WOULD MOST LIKELY SEND HIM DOWN THE ROAD .

OH NO,,,WE SUCK AGAIN! reutimann was the best replacement?

..and i disagree oldtimer. if i were a car owner i would rather have brash and wild over scared and sensitive. you can steal some thunder from a 'wild' driver, but you can't make a nervous driver drive like he has a pair. ...never.

yep you would most likely be having sponsor problems like finch. ..crazy you are not anything like kurt ....if you are your better at keeping it under control ..brash aint bad .scared is a no no ..and sensitive ...well gotta have a tiny bit of that ........you cant keep biting the hand that reaches out and feeds you .without them ..your talent means nothing ...

reuitimann didnt do too bad yesterday in kurts ride. i think he finished 20th, but most importantly he didnt tear up the equipment.

As far as I could tell, he wasnt mentioned either. If he expects to keep a ride, he cant be an also ran. I expected more out of Dinger this year in 1st class equipment also but so far, not so good.

im thinking the fact reutimann wasnt mentioned was by design. of coarse if he was running in the top 15, im sure he would have gotten mentioned, but im sure they didnt want to mention him more then they had to.

i agree on the dinger. i thought for sure he would have been better so far over at penske. i think he has ran well a couple times but had bad luck, i think he might turn it around by the end of the season. today is d day for kurt. if he makes it past today, he is gonna be on a very short leash.

Looks like they kissed and made up--From Jayski:

Statement From Phoenix Racing regarding Kurt Busch and the #51 Chevy: Below is a statement from James Finch, owner of Phoenix Racing, regarding Kurt Busch and the #51 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet. "We have met with Kurt. At the end of the day, we are racers so we're going racing together with Kurt and the #51 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet. We know adjustments have to be made but how we fix that is between Kurt and myself. We're going to go to the track, work hard, race hard and work on trying to attract a sponsor and we're going to do that together."
