Crazyhorse
one hell of a driver!....that keeps committing career suicide. his name is not stewart, he doesn't race for gibbs and/or sponsored by home depot....so he can't be saying them crazy things. AMRacer89
Should Kurt have worded his response differently? Yes. However, if you've seen the actual interview, you can tell that reporter is trying to set him off. Ever since Homestead, and especially since his radio chatter from Darlington aired, the media interviewing him as been doing almost everything they can to set him off. I guess they're mad they got showed up by a kid with an iPhone at Homestead.

direct-flo
I guess NASCAR in an attempt to bolster the ratings has started to focus on the drivers with a bad boy image. Personally I think it would serve them better to focus less on bad drivers and more on good racing…but then again you have to have some good racing to write about. REBELRACER
http://www.nascar.com/news/120604/kbusch-s...nded/index.html looks like they are finished mulling it over. lol [added by Nick] >>> DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- NASCAR has suspended Kurt Busch until June 13 and has extended his probation until Dec. 31 for his actions following the Nationwide Series race June 2 at Dover International Speedway. Busch violated Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing; violation of probation; verbal abuse to a media member) of the 2012 NASCAR Rule Book. Busch had been placed on probation May 15 for his actions during the May 12 Sprint Cup Series event at Darlington Raceway. That probation was scheduled to end July 25. REBELRACER
he has to know they are setting him up every time they stick a microphone in his face. his best career move would be to just smile and walk away. i think what got him in trouble this weekend was the fact he basically threatened to punch the reporter. lol. im sure if he would have worded his response without the part about punching the reporter, im sure he would have got by with it. he might want to start saving his money, cause at the rate he is going he will be on the couch every week pretty soon. what a waste of talent. i like a driver who isnt a cookie cutter robot, but there is no place for a total punk. jwmbishop
Whats the big deal? He is on the team his actions have won him, with the sponsors and support befitting his behavior - why should he change - he obviously has everything he wants. It's okay to be itty bitty! REBELRACER
im not so sure james finch feels exactly the same way. then again any press is good press, right? they keep making it sound like the finch ride is a 1 year stepping stone ride until a premier ride opens up. the way he is acting, i think this 1 year deal might turn into a career ride due to nobody else wanting anything to do with him
thumper
Thats a shame,I am actually a Kurt Bush fan because of his talent.I have known some good racers over the years whose temper ruined their racing endavors as well.I also know some promoters who have tried to control what drivers say on their own time like facebook and most of these guys are out of the game now while a couple are on the endangered species. I just dont think sancioning bodies should try to censor the thoughts and opinions of keyed up performers nor should a preformer endanger others with their actions. But if you dont want to hear what they say, dont ask them questions.Give them some space. Another witch hunt.
Radical
He should have done like Kyle Petty said he should had. Just walk away. As some of you are saying he has to know they are setting him up. I still think he along with his brother should be taken behind the wood shed and have their behinds fired up and then kicked to the minor leagues back in Vegas. Modracer
What a dummy. The reporter asked him a good question. I can't believe that he got set off so easy. He deserves everything that Nascar gives him. More talent than he has sense!
