TMS-317 is a brand new chassis to the No. 30 FOE Chevrolet team. · Eagle Strong… The Fraternal Order of Eagles will again adorn the sides of the No. 30 machine and the uniform of driver James Buescher during the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series season. · Come and See Me… James Buescher will be at the Chevrolet Racing display located outside of turn 4 in the display area on Saturday, February 25th at 11 am EST. He will answer questions in addition to signing autographs for fans. · Nice Stats in Daytona… James Buescher has five starts behind the wheel of a stock car at the “World Center of Racing”. In those five starts, the 21-year-old has accumulated one win, one pole, along with four top-10 results. · Double Duty… Texas driver James Buescher will be busy this weekend. Not only will he compete in Saturday’s 300-mile NASCAR Nationwide Series race, but the 21-year-old driver will also participate in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event in his No. 31 AccuDoc Solution Chevrolet. Not only does it kick off the season, but is one of our biggest races of the year. I can’t wait to get going. All the guys on the Fraternal Order of Eagles Chevrolet have been working overtime massaging on this car and I think it is really going to pay off this weekend. We know we can’t make any mistakes early in the race and we have to try to keep the car clean and be there with five to go. If last weekend’s races were any indication of how Saturday’s race is going to play out, the race fans are in for a treat.” JAMES BUESCHER Personal Statistics: Birthdate: March 26, 1990 Hometown: Plano, Texas Residence: Katy, Texas Marital Status: Married, Kris A family man off the track, James Buescher is known for his take no prisoners attitude on the race track. From the time he was 12-years-old, Buescher was winning races and championships in his home state of Texas. Jumping into the seat of fellow Texas-native Steve Turner’s American Speed Association (ASA) Late Model ride in 2006, Buescher has been moving up the stock car ranks with Turner Motorsports ever since. In 2012, he will compete for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) championship in the No. 31 Exide Batteries/AccuDoc Solutions Silverado. In addition, he will compete in a limited number of NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) races for the organization in the No. 30 Fraternal Order of Eagles and ABF Freight Impala. Buescher won his first championship at 14-years-old, competing in the Bandolero Young Gun Series at Texas Motor Speedway. The following year he moved onto the Legend Series and in 2006 partnered with Turner Motorsports to run in the ASA Late Model Series where he captured the championship, Rookie-of-the-Year award and Most Popular Driver award. Over the next two years he raced in various national stock car series, making his ARCA Racing Series, NCWTS and NNS debuts. In his sixth NNS start, in Braun Racing’s No. 32 entry, he claimed his first NASCAR pole award (Memphis Motorsports Park, 2008). In 2009, he competed full-time in the NCWTS bringing home one top-five and three top-10 finishes. In four ARCA Racing Series events that same year he collected two wins and three top-five finishes. Buescher returned to the NCWTS in 2010, piloting Turner Motorsports’ No. 31 Wolfpack Rentals Silverado for a majority of the season. In 22 starts he finished inside the top-five on six occasions and inside the top-10 10 times. He also made 15 NNS starts with one top-10 finish and claimed Turner Motorsports first NASCAR pole award (Texas Motor Speedway, November). The 21-year-old had a breakout season in 2011 capturing four poles, 10 top-five and 19 top-10 finishes on his way to a career best third in the final NASCAR Camping World Truck Series point standings driving the No. 31 Exide Batteries Chevrolet Silverado. Buescher will return to the No. 31 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series seat for Turner Motorsports in 2012. He and the No.31 Exide Batteries/AccuDoc Solutions Chevrolet team have high expectations, looking for both their first win as well as the organization’s first championship. It is without a doubt that Buescher has what it takes to compete successfully in NASCAR top-three series as his future is very bright. Buescher’s resume shows that he is able to perform at a top-notch level and as he develops into a more seasoned driver, the wins are sure to follow. When Buescher is away from the race track, he enjoys hunting, golfing, bike riding and spending time with family and friends.
