outlaw_stck
I need some help choosing the right cam for my Chevy Street truck, it has a 305.What i want is more low-end torque, but at the same time i want to be able to notice a difference in the top end. Any help would be appreciated. Also, would a 500 rpm stall converter be to much for a 305? and can i use a shift kit with a stall converter? Thanks in advance. BowTie
If I were you I would visit the crane cam site. They have many excellent grinds that will work well in the 305. The thing about it, you will increase low end torque and make a larger power curve. Hope gas mileage wasn't on the list to increase
hray
Just call Crane or Comp Cams and ask for the tech dept. They will take all the info on your car and the track you run and recommend a cam.
