Saturday, July 17, 2004 will mark the approximate half way point of the 2004 racing season at Thunder Hill Raceway in Kyle, TX. The #99 Street Stock and 2003 Street Stock champion driver Cary Stapp will start the day before heading to the track on Saturday with a car and driver appearance at EZ Credit Autos in San Marcos. EZ Credit Autos is located near the intersection of Hopkins Street and the IH35 West Frontage Road in San Marcos. The appearance will begin with the #99 car on display at 9:00 am and will last until approximately Noon before the team loads up and heads to Thunder Hill Raceway to compete again in the weekly stock car racing there. The team currently sits in the 4th position in the points standings there after some bad luck in the early stages of the season. The San Marcos based team hopes to better that position during the July 17 races and hopes to see a large crowd of fans from the San Marcos and surrounding areas threre to root them on.
