(June 7) – A check for $1,000 and a berth on the 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot are on the line when the World Products Empire State Series journeys to Dunn Hill 2 Speedway. The Wednesday, June 15 event marks the first-ever IMCA Modified series appearance on the ¼-mile clay oval. National, ButlerBuilt Eastern Region, Allstar Performance State and special series points will be awarded. Pit gates and the grandstand at Monroeton both open at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for youngsters five and under. Pit passes are $30 for non-members and $25 for members.
