Houston Motorsports Park
Bounty Increased to $2000 on #91 Zach Hausler! Undefeated. One simple word describes the season that NASCAR Fiesta Modified driver, Zach Hausler, has had this year at Houston Motorsports Park. Winning 6 consecutive events put him not only at the top of the HMP’s Points Championship but also puts a big target on his back. In response to this past Saturday nights win, Fiesta Mart is matching the HMP bounty to make it $2000 Bounty Bonus to anyone in the entire USA that can outrun the #91 driven by Zach! This is in addition to the winning purse. If this happens on May 14th at Fiesta’s Spring Shootout, that winning driver will take home $3000 and the pride of knowing they outrun the current, best NASCAR Fiesta Modified driver in the class. Is Zach the real deal? Winning the US Legend Cars National Championship in 2010, Zach Hausler at the current age of 16, has already accomplished more than many drivers will in a lifetime. Stepping into one of the most rough and competitive classes in Texas, Hausler, driving the #91 built by Port City Chassis and tuned by Doug Lege of Pit Solutions, has clearly dominated the field thus far this season. This Past Saturday night was no different even with the pressure of a $1000 bounty on his head. “Zach is one of the most consistent drivers, I have ever worked with,” stated Doug Lege, owner of Pit Solutions and Zach’s Crew Chief. “He doesn’t make mistakes and when others do, he is there to take advantage of it. Once he is in front of you, you are not going to catch him.” Houston Motorsports Park invites any and all Modified drivers in the USA to come give it their best shot. “We are fortunate to have Zach race here and see him early in his career,” stated HMP Owner Graham Baker. “I wouldn’t expect him to be here long before a NASCAR team picks him up for much bigger things.” There are 12 races left in the 2011 season at HMP. The next event, Fiesta’s Spring Shootout is May 14th. Spectator gates open at 5pm and racing runs from 6pm to 10pm. Children ages 12 and under get in free and adult general admission ticket may be purchased for $5.00 at any Houston Fiesta Mart location. The facility also features $1 hot dogs, $1 cokes and $1 beer at all Saturday night oval track events. Known as “The Palace of Power,” Houston Motorsports Park, a member track of the NASCAR Whelen All American Series, is a 3/8-mile, high-banked asphalt oval track that’s located in Northeast Houston at 11620 N Lake Houston Parkway.
