NickHolt Posted June 25, 2004 Report Share Posted June 25, 2004 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 25, 2004 Contact: Thunder Hill Raceway, 512.262.1352 ROMCO Tornado Tour to highlight racing at Thunder Hill Raceway The ROMCO Super Late Model "2004 Texas Tornado Tour" will headline the racing this Saturday night (June 26) at Thunder Hill Raceway (THR). The ROMCO drivers will compete in a 125-lap feature race. Scheduled to appear as the Grand Marshalls for this week's racing program are Tom Meredith, a local photographer who was injured in a racing-related accident, and a yet-to-be-named representative from Budweiser/Brown Distributing of Austin. The Dwarf Car Association will also run a feature race at THR, as will the track's three local classes - the A-Line Auto Parts Street Stocks, the Capital City Trade & Technical School Hobby Stocks and the Grand Stocks. THR's intermission on Saturday night will feature the famed "Bicycle Races," where kids aged 4-18 can bring out their own bicycles and helmets and run some fun-filled races on the track.
