Wonder if it was worth it?

Matt Kenseth and Kevin Harvick were each penalized 10 finishing positions, $25,000 fine and placed on probation until Aug. 11, a period covering the next seven Nextel Cup races.

Wondering if they thought it was worth it? LOL

On Nascar Online Fast Track,Kenseth was heard being told to go back to 20th position after Harvick dumped him. When he realised they were leaving Harvick alone,he decided then to dump him.The ten positions weren.t really a penalty, they were the correct finishing order if it went green again. As far as the fines go...do you realise what these guys make in endorsements? lol Fines will have to go into the six digit range to start waking them up,but even then they'll probably just fall back to sleep. -_--_--_-

Actually, JRacer...

Harvick got penalized 10 positions on the track..

He was moved from a Top-10 finish (at 10th) back to the second-to-last car on the lead lap (20th), just in front of Kenseth..

Considering the 10th place finisher (Casey Mears) scored 134 points and Harvick ended up with 103 points in 20th position, Harvick suffered a possible "loss" of 31 points as well..

Also..I talked to Kenseth's PR guy (Jeff Cheatham) earlier this week..He said he was dumbfounded that Matt would do what he did ON the track..he said Matt preaches to everyone not to take things out on the track---like he did with Harvick. Jeff told me that the Matt & Kevin "show" has been bad blood since Bristol of last year...
