Rookie49
what was the 20 car dq'ed for?
Guest rocketdog15
The Roadrunners have a vacuum rule that states: the intake must produce 16 pounds of vacuum at 1000 rpm. This is supposed to keep the Roadrunners where they have to use a stock camshaft. This is what the two cars in that class were DQed for, meaning they produced less than 16 pounds of vacuum. Jkelly57
Unfortunately the tech officials did not have the proper fitting to take an accurate vacuum reading on the #67 car I drove Saturday night. With the needle on the guage jumping around (due to the air leak) the officials had "no choice but to disqualify" me. I have no beefs w/ the officials themselves; we all go way back, but the proper equipment is needed to properly tech the cars. There's also another complaint about how fast I caught Greg in the feature. Well, when you have 2 lapped cars running side by side in front of you, everyone is going to catch you. *Also, just a side note. This was the 1st DQ in Kelly Racing history. Guess there's a first time for everything!
