Houston Motorsports Park Posted November 19, 2010 Report Share Posted November 19, 2010 HMP Race Teams, As the 2011 season draws near, HMP would like you to know some of what is in store for the 2011 Race Season. As we have previously announced, the NASCAR Modifieds will be the Feature Division at both HMP and THR. Fiesta has picked up the title sponsorship of the class at HMP as the “NASCAR Fiesta Modifieds.” The Late Models will continue to be NASCAR sanctioned and will now be sponsored by Cricket Wireless as the “NASCAR Cricket Late Models.” Also, as previously announced 360 Motorsports has increased their support of the “NASCAR 360 Trucks.” New and improved for next year, HMP would like to welcome Butcher Welding & Fabrication Service (BWFS) as the title sponsor for the Ecostocks. The BWFS Ecostocks will race the full 2011 HMP schedule and will have an increased purse. HMP would like to thank Joe Butcher for his support. Though purse and points fund may not be the single most important reason you race, we do realize that it is important. With that being said, we are proud to announce the following points and purse structure for 2011 for classes that run the full HMP schedule: NASCAR Fiesta Modifieds $10,000 Points Fund $750 Win/ $100 Start - Regular Purse WITH NO MINIMUM CAR COUNT Plus $1000 Win / $200 Start on Six Fiesta Events WITH NO MINIMUM CAR COUNTS PLUS $4000 Win / $500 Start for the “Fiesta 100” at Fiesta’s SPEEDFEST presented by Cricket Wireless NASCAR Cricket Late Models $10,000 Points Fund $1000 Win / $100 Start - Regular Purse WITH NO MINIMUM CAR COUNTS Plus $1500 Win / $200 Start on Cricket NASCAR Night WITH NO MINIMUM CAR COUNTS Plus $3000 Win / $350 Start for the “Delmar 75” at Fiesta’s SPEEDFEST presented by Cricket Wireless NASCAR 360 Trucks $5,000 Points Fund $750 Win / $100 Start Regular Purse WITH NO MINIMUM CAR COUNTS Plus $850 Win / $200 Start for Five Events Plus $1500 Win / $250 Start for the “360 Motorsports 60” Fiesta’s SPEEDFEST presented by Cricket Wireless Pro Stocks $500 Win / $75 Start - Regular Purse WITH NO MINIMUM CAR COUNTS Plus $700 Win / $200 Start for Sweetheart Showdown on February 12th Season Opener BWFS Ecostocks $125 - 1st, $100 - 2nd, $75 - 3rd, $50 - 4th & $25 – 5th Regular Purse Plus FREE Pit Pass for next scheduled race to all drivers who start the Feature of current race. Also, the full breakdown of the purse and points fund payouts for all classes that race at HMP will be available on the HMP website very soon.
