As the racing season winds down.......

I hope you buy your families the gifts of great safety equipment. The stuff may fit you and your car, but the gift is to them, and they deserve the best.

I hope you practice emergency scenarios, with the racecar, and at home.

I hope you had a chance to thank a voluteer firefighter.

I hope you are making plans for the new race season.

I hope you have decided that having a fire extinguisher in sight is a good idea. (At home, too)

I hope you realize that most of the racing you will do is for fun, and keep it in perspective.

 

Tragedy can teach you a lot about perspective, and I hope you learn from someone else's rather than the hard way.
