James Buescher on driving at Martinsville Speedway

“Martinsville is a place where you beat and bang all day. As a driver, you have to be defensive and take what you can get. You have to be patient and wait for your competitors to make a mistake and take advantage of it.

“We have had a month to get ready for the final stretch of the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season. I know that [crew chief] Michael [shelton] and all the guys on this Wolfpack Rentals Chevrolet team are ready. They have been working extremely hard making sure that we have everything we need to get to victory lane. We have been on a roll the last four or five races and I am confident we are going to finish the season strong.

Crew Chief Michael Shelton on racing at Martinsville Speedway

“Martinsville [speedway] is one of the toughest places we go on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule. You can have a great truck and be leading the race with five laps to go and not make it to the finish line.

“The keys to success at Martinsville [speedway] are to preserve your brakes. It is a place where brakes are so important and you need them to last for 200 laps. We have to take advantage of track position and put James [buescher] in a position to battle for the win. We know we have a big task this weekend, but I feel we are all up for the challenge.”
